It's been a while since I updated the Blog and a lot has happened since then.
After slicing the model into several modular parts and then waiting several days for my printer to churn them out, the first physical mockup of this version was born. Once fully assembled I couldn't help but marvel at at it, and of course immediately shoulder it. While great for show-and-tell and gawking at via Instagram (@magfedsolutions) it's primary purpose is to test fit and validate all of the dimensions and form of the 3D CAD model in order to reach a functional model. During this time there are some other pretty exciting things that'll happen to this model.

The changes listed would greatly enhance the end-user experience and deliver on something a bit more than just a cosmetic upgrade from the donor marker. It's taken years to get to this point and I'm very excited for the first shots this thing will take here in the next few weeks.
